INVESTech is a 4-year project designed to unlock the innovation potential of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in five participating European countries: Slovakia, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Lithuania. The project seeks to foster strong collaboration between education systems, the labor market, and other key stakeholders. Through the use of innovative technology, skill development, and a focus on the green transition and social inclusion, INVESTech aims to ensure that VET plays a crucial role in advancing innovation, skills, and sustainable development.
Objectives and Approach
INVESTech promotes a bottom-up approach to vocational excellence by engaging a wide range of regional stakeholders. The goal is to build on existing skills ecosystems, expand them, or create new ones, allowing Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) to adapt swiftly to evolving economic and social demands. By incorporating the Quintuple Innovation Helix (Q2IH) Framework, which brings together the academic community, industry, public sector, civil society, and the natural environment, INVESTech facilitates broader cooperation and more effective outreach. This collaborative approach helps elevate regional efforts to the European level, ensuring alignment with EU VET policies and actions, thus introducing a „European dimension“ to Vocational Excellence.
The Role of TUES in INVESTech
A key partner in the project is TUES and AZTUES assioate partner of the project, both organizations plays a pivotal role in transforming VET in Bulgaria.
